The company

At the MG Workshop we maintain, repair and restore nothing but M.G.s. from the ‘Abingdon era’. This means all those cars made between 1929 and 1980 at the Works of the M.G. Car Company Ltd. in Abingdon in Oxfordshire, England, are catered for. During this 51 year period, M.G. marketed 21 different models within which you’ll find at least 40 variations or types.

By far the best well known model is the MGB of which 500.000 were made. Most of our customers own one of these models or a direct derivative. But! There is more! Our workshop can hold a maximum of 15 cars at once and you will typically find at least 6 different models at any one time.

Next to regular maintenance, MOTs, tyres, all sorts of repairs, part and full restorations, engine building and tuning, race- and rally prepping, interior renovations and fitting hoods and tonneau covers and such, we also aim to provide the diy customer with parts, both from stock and on order.

Whatever the job, we aim to deliver quality.
